Unlike most PVC products, the manufacturing process for PRO series mats ensures that no toxic emissions are released into the atmosphere, making them safe for human contact. In fact, these mats have been certified safe for use by OEKO-TEX, a respected material certification agency in Europe for the textile industry.

Responsibly made in an emissions-free German facility, each mat is meticulously handmade with 100% latex-free PVC that has been certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. As a result of this handmade process, the mats may vary slightly in length, width, and/or thickness.

To break in your mat, the non-slip grip will improve with use, allowing you to flow between postures without sticking. It is recommended to keep practicing on the mat to help break it in over time and maximize its performance.

In terms of care, the closed-cell material of the mat helps to keep out moisture. However, to maintain its cleanliness and fresh scent, it is advised to use the Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh spray and Botanical Cleaner, as other cleaning solutions have not been tested or recommended for use on the mat.
