Most PVC products release toxic emissions into the air during manufacturing, but the PRO series mats are produced using a process that prevents any toxic emissions from being released into the atmosphere. These mats are certified safe for human contact by OEKO-TEX, a European agency that certifies materials in the textile industry.

The PRO series mats are considered the best in their class and are highly recommended by fitness instructors and yoga therapists worldwide. They are built to last a lifetime and provide high-density cushioning, with 4.7 mm cushioning that offers superior support, stability, and joint protection, as well as comfort on any surface.

These mats are responsibly made, with each one meticulously handmade in an emissions-free German facility using 100% latex-free PVC that has been certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. Due to the handmade nature of the products, there may be slight variations in length, width, and/or thickness.

As you continue to use your mat, the non-slip grip will improve, and the textured top layer allows you to flow between postures without sticking. It is recommended to keep practicing in order to break your mat in over time.

To keep your mat clean and smelling fresh, you can use the Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh spray and Botanical Cleaner. It is important to note that other cleaning solutions have not been tested or recommended for use on the mat. Our closed-cell material helps keep out moisture, which also contributes to the durability of the mat.
